Healthcare - furniture upholstered with Vinylized fabric provide a sense of comfort and security to those suffering from incontinence. Studies show that residents in senior healthcare facilities will be more likely to venture out of their living quarters knowing an accident will not damage the furniture; thereby increasing the quality of life for those residents.
Upholstering tips for Vinylized fabrics:
- Works best with hard cushions
- Ensure proper ventilation
- Do not stretch material excessively across the weft. You should not exceed 2 lbs per linear inch.
- Excessive stretching may cause the vinyl film to lift or 'bridge' the valleys of the fabric surface.
- When 'wrapping' the fabric around upholstered corners and edges, excess fabric should be taken up by pleating, not stretching.
Cleaning Instructions: To remove most stains from Vinylized fabric, use mild soap and water (always use sparingly). Do not soak cushions; liquid may soak through the seams and into the stuffing. For tougher stains, use a mild cleanser such as Soft Scrub. Do not use wire brushes, steel wool or harsh abrasives of the type to clean kitchen utensils.
Processing time is approximately 7-10 days from in-work date to packing date.
