Custom Roller Shades
Custom Roller Shades are a unique and handsome window treatment
alternative, economical too as they require less fabric or wallpaper
than most other window treatments. With a decorative scallop and/or
fringe finish combined with a companion top valance, roller shades
can be attractive and practical.
Custom Roller Shades include:
• Lamination of your fabric or wallpaper to a room darkening or translucent
backing
• Mounting of material to the roller (regular roll for fabric; reverse
roll for wallpaper)
• Mounting bracket hardware
For oversized shades and heavy material shades, clutch rollers are required;
additional cost. Clutch rollers can also be used on any size shade for ease of
operation.
Selected Backing Options
• 100% BlackOut Shade backing is our standard backing for all roller shade
applications.
• Translucent Backing allows some light to pass through the shade.
All shades will be mounted as follows: regular roll for fabric, reverse roll
for wallpaper. Deviation from this standard may be requested. Please check with
Customer Service for details.

technical
considerations
Almost any pre-shrunk fabric
or wallpaper can be used to make a roller shade.
Seams are made for proper pattern
matching. For balancing purposes
we will make two seams per shade whenever seaming is
necessary. Seaming charges
are additional.
For multiple shade quantities
made with the same fabric, send the fabric as one continuous
piece.
For outside mounting (OB), we
recommend that the brackets be
placed to allow 1” to
2” overlap on each side of the casement.
